Spanish at Maria´s

  Spanish at Maria's offers one-to-one lessons and group lessons. Individual lessons are personalised and based on the student's preferences and needs. These lessons are ideal for students who need their own space to work and progress in their study of the language for example GCSE, A levels or DELE.  Group lessons for adults are based on a method developed by me in which language learning is done in a natural way. Students learn in a relaxed and enjoyable environment where there is room for bugs, laughter and fun and where the main priority is to progress in the learning.

Spanish at Maria's offers 60 minutes face-to-face lessons in Surrey and 30 minutes online lessons via Zoom at any location. We also do 60 minutes group lessons for adults, a natural and easy way to learn Spanish while having fun!.  You can choose the plan that best suits your needs among the following:

To find out what you need exactly, we will do a short interview on the phone in which you will tell me what you need and what you want to achieve. It is not the same to learn a language to be able to communicate on holidays or to learn a language to pass an exam. This information is very important since all my lessons are personalised and I need to know what moves you to learn this language. In this interview, I will ask you about your learning needs if there are any (ej, visual impairment...). Once I know this information, I will advise on one of the three programmes I offer (face-to-face, online or group lessons). Based on your choice, we will do a level test. If you have never studied Spanish before do not worry, you do not need to do it!. At this point, you will be ready to venture into learning Spanish at Maria's.  

Right,...I'm going, to be honest. You will not learn Spanish in a month and if you really want to hear the truth you will not be fluent in a year.  I'm sorry to tell you this but it's the truth and anyone who tells you otherwise is hiding the truth from you. It is vital that you work hard and participate fully in the lessons. Also to understand and recognize that making mistakes is a normal part of the language learning process.  In Spanish at Maria's: Y ou’ll learn grammar and vocabulary in a relevant context that’s tailored to your language goals, interests and special needs.  No need to purchase any textbook since I never follow a single one. We will role-play real-life scenarios that will build your speaking confidence. A relaxed one-to-one environment will help you to develop your confidence.
